Mezzanine is a recording studio based in Alvalade, one of the finest neighborhoods in Lisbon, founded in 2022 by the award-winning Composer and Sound Designer Miguel Guia. Miguel stood out as a music producer with Loopless' debut album in 2003. Since then he has produced two handfuls of other music projects but this was not his main activity. It was in advertising that, since coming to Lisbon in 1997, he has developed his main activity as a composer and sound designer, mainly for advertising. He has been accumulating awards and nominations at the Festival Clube de Criativos where he was considered the Sound Designer of the year in 2019. On his folio are original soundtracks and sound designing for brands such as: Vodafone, Lidl, Millennium, Pingo Doce, Continente, Worten, BPI, Mc Donalds, Nike, CUF, Medis , Mercedes, BMW, Netflix, RTP 1, Água das Pedras, Unilever, Sagres, among many others. He worked in Som de Lisboa as a music producer and studio manager for 24 years.
